We are always keen to hear what programmes you want to hear on air, so if you have an idea for a programme we would like to hear from you.

Please download a copy of our Programme Proposal Form and return to Alex Tallon, vice-chair, by our meeting on Tuesday 7 September. Where possible, we would prefer completed forms to be e-mailed to alex.tallon@coriniumradio.co.uk, but if you’d prefer to print a form and complete by hand we will still accept your programme ideas.

Download our form in Microsoft Word (.doc) or PDF format.

You don’t have to know the full details at this stage – we will be able to discuss your idea at a future meeting and build on it; if you have never produced a radio programme before, committee members will always be happy to assist with any queries/questions you have.

Our 9th broadcast is now over, and we would like to thank all those who have helped make it possible.

Breakfast Show presenters Liz and Joanna have, as Chair and Vice-Chair, been running all our meetings over the last few years. They will be stepping down from their posts later this week, but we hope they will stay involved with the radio station and help make some more programmes in the future.

Sponsorship co-ordinator Malcolm has been responsible for organizing all our sponsorship, and after the introduction of our Platinum package managed to find two sponsors. The platinum package made a huge difference to our funds so a large sum of money has already gone towards a future broadcast.

Angela has, as treasurer to the group, collected money from sponsors and donations as well as paid the money out for all our licenses. She has kept the team on track in the moments where those attending the meetings have wanted to do something too complicated or expensive for the radio station.

The scheduling has been organized by programming co-ordinator Alex who has collated programme proposal forms from all our presenters and organized the printing of leaflets and the publishing of the schedules in local newspapers and magazines.

Technicians Tom and Fred built the studio on Wednesday night, and were always on hand to fix problems with the studio which occurred during the broadcast weekend. They were also responsible for monitoring our Internet broadcast, which despite the fact that it comes from a computer in someone’s house with a radio tuned to 87,7 attached to the end of it, worked alot better than it has done previously. Without them, you wouldn’t have been able to hear any of our programmes!

Our presenters, programme makers, editors (in fact, the whole on-air team) must also get a mention. Notably, Will and Ben who were the most popular programme on our online stream; new recruit Nick Edwards with his Psychedelic Rock series; Liz, Chloë, Joanna, Rob and Alex who produced the Breakfast Shows; Ann who organised for the local primary schools to be involved; and Steve Connoly who wrote and recorded our radio play.

This broadcast was also the first time which we did live travel updates for those going to the Cotswold Show. On Sunday, we had Liz and Cameron on location who spoke over the phone about what was going on, out on Cirencester’s roads.

Most importantly, we’d like to thank all our listeners. Without your feedback, we’d be lost! This is your station, and everything we do is for you! We’d love to year from you if you have something to say, perhaps you might want to get involved… Come along to our AGM on Thursday 8. July 2010 at 6:45pm (for 7.00 start) in the Cirencester Bingham Library.

Hopefully, we will be back in the future. But this will only be possible if we have enough volunteers. No one has to speak on air if that’s not what you want to do. If you’d like to contact us, e-mail info@coriniumradio.co.uk and we’ll try and answer your queries as best we can.
