BBQ At the Oddfellows Arms – CANCELLED

Unfortunatley, due to lack of interest, this event has been cancelled.

On Sunday 27. June from 3pm there will be a BBQ at the Oddfellows Arms (Chester Street, Cirencester). See the poster below for details, or click here to download a copy as a PDF file.

New Sponsorship Packages Announced

In order for our broadcasts to be possible we are dependant on fundraising – we need approximately £1500 for every broadcast. The funds are put towards the various licenses required for broadcasting (OfCom) and permission to use music and other copyrighted material (PRS, PPL) as well as the maintainence and (when required) replacement of equipment, and publicity.

We hold various events throughout the year, but part of the money is raised through sponsorship – something we have been doing since our second broadcast. Our activities continue to grow as we become more established and experienced.

We now have four different sponsorship packages, the most basic costing only £20 to sponsor 1-hour of airtime; the most expensive costing £200 to sponsor a whole day.

Quiz Night at the Oddfellows Arms

There will be a quiz night at the Oddfellows Arms in Chester Street on Friday 26 February (from 9pm).

You can take part in teams of up to 5, and its only £2 per person (money raised going to Corinium Radio). It will be fun but challenging – and you might win a prize!

Support your local community radio station: come along, bring a friend, bring a team or join one on the night.
