Corinium Radio has been broadcasting since May 2006. We are a community based, not-for-profit, independent local radio station run entirely by volunteers. We broadcast to Cirencester and its immediate surrounding area for 3 to 4 days, twice a year (in the spring and autumn). However, in order for this to be possible there is a significant amount of fundraising to be done. The funds are put towards the various licenses required for broadcasting and permission to use music on the air, as well as maintaining equipment and publicity.
The Corinium Radio website was visited by over 650 unique visitors during our July 2010 broadcast, and we have decided to link this advertising potential with our successful broadcast advertising opportunities. There are four ways for you to support Corinium Radio and get your business promoted by this unique and powerful media. We also welcome contributions from individuals, and in fact many of our programmes are sponsored by individuals from outside the radio station.
- Bronze – For £10 your company will get 2 on air mentions during the broadcast weekend. Your company will also be listed on the sponsors and supporters page of our website. Please be aware that this does not include a link from our website to yours.
- Silver - For £20 you can sponsor an hour of airtime broadcast. During this hour we will give your company at least 3 mentions. Your company will also be listed on the sponsors and supporters page of our website. Please be aware that this does not include a link from our website to yours.
- Gold – For £40 your logo will appear as a link on the Supporters Page of our website. You will also get to sponsor an hour’s worth of on air programming during which your company will receive at least three on air mentions.
- Platinum – For £100 your logo can be placed as a link on the Corinium Radio website homepage. If you take up this offer your company will also sponsor 2 hours of programmes. This includes three mentions per hour.
- Diamond – For £200 you can sponsor a whole day of the broadcast, your logo can be placed as a link on the Corinium Radio website homepage and your company will get at least 1 mention per hour for the day of the live broadcast (between 08:00 and 23:00).
If you would like to pre record your own message (no more than 30 seconds) or you would like us to record one for you please let us know. Remember, you can buy as many hours as you like, and combine on-air advertising with a link from our website to yours!
All sponsors are credited on our Supporters Page, and where on-air advertising has been used we will aim to credit you on our schedules.

Although we will not broadcast for a few more months yet, we need funds immediately so that we can apply for the licenses, book our FM frequency and arrange for transmitter hire as soon as possible; for gold, platinum or diamond sponsors, we can activate the website link as soon as the details are agreed.
