Borderlands Audio CD by Rona Laycock
This recorded collection of poems from the pen of poet Rona Laycock is a compelling and intimate portrait of life lived amongst people and societies very different from our own. Whether sat amongst the teeming streets of Cairo or the dramatic mountain passes of Pakistan’s North West frontier, the poems collected on Borderlands offer a personal insight into the people and places, the sights and sounds and experiences that have meant so much to Rona – a journey into the very heart of the Middle East itself.
The 30 digitally recorded poems are read by Rona Laycock, Roshi Fernando and Steven Wheldon and the 54 minute long CD is accompanied by an 8 page booklet containing track notes and photographs. It is available from: Rona Laycock, 33 Sandford Leaze, Avening, Glos, GL8 8PB and costs £9 (including postage).
