In order for our broadcasts to be possible we are dependant on fundraising – we need approximately £1500 for every broadcast. The funds are put towards the various licenses required for broadcasting (OfCom) and permission to use music and other copyrighted material (PRS, PPL) as well as the maintainence and (when required) replacement of equipment, and publicity.
We hold various events throughout the year, but part of the money is raised through sponsorship – something we have been doing since our second broadcast. Our activities continue to grow as we become more established and experienced.
We now have four different sponsorship packages, the most basic costing only £20 to sponsor 1-hour of airtime; the most expensive costing £200 to sponsor a whole day.
