This month’s edition of the Cirencester U3A Show for Corinium Radio features a Liz Dancer interview with one of the tutors from last year’s U3A National Summer School, retired archaeologist and medieval historian Philip Holdsworth, as he talks about the Life and Works of Bede. As well as tracks from Lord Of The Rings the show also features more musical memories from Alex Nisbet as he introduces some of the biggest acts of the 1950s, including Frankie Laine, Elvis Presley, Guy Mitchell and Johnny Ray.
