Keri Jones visits the beautiful city of Budapest. Hungary’s grand capital is formed of two cities Buda and Pest which lie on opposite sides of the Danube river.
Budapest’s public transport is an attraction in itself. Keri rides on a UNESCO-listed underground train and he takes the riverside tram ride considered to be one of the worlds most scenic tram routes with its breathtaking views of the old city of Buda on the hillside opposite. Budapest is known for its thermal baths and Keri visits the city’s most popular in Pest. And he goes underground in Buda to visit a nuclear bunker and hospital built by the communist government during the height of the Cold War.
