Corinium Radio has been recognised as the Best Community Radio Station in the Cotswolds.

The award, decided by votes from members of the public, comes as part of the 2017 Cotswolds Awards.

We’ve only just heard this great news and we’re really thrilled to know we’ve won. Volunteers put a lot of hard work into operating the station and trying to provide programmes that everyone can enjoy and this award makes it all worthwhile. We would like to thank everyone who voted for us – you’ve done us proud!

Radio station spokesman Tony Coleman

orinium Radio, based in Cirencester, is run by a team of dedicated volunteers ranging in age from 8 to 80. It broadcasts online 24/7.

Programmes include music and spoken word shows.

We are always on the look-out for more volunteers to help us keep the station on the road so if you fancy having a go why not get in touch. Now’s your chance to join a winning team.

There are lots of roles on offer for volunteers and not all of them involve being on air. E-mail Carole Boydell on caroleboydell@coriniumradio.co.uk more details.
