What a great start to our first weekend back on air!
This weekend sees the third Phoenix Festival in the Abbey Grounds, and our team of roving reporters have been on site, taking in the atmosphere of the festival and broadcasting it on the radio.
The technology to broadcast live from outside the studio is relatively new to us, so we know it didn’t sound perfect on air. The on-site Internet kept cutting us off! But we are always learning and we hope to do more on-location broadcasts in the near future and we hope to keep improving as we go.
We did a live broadcast from the Alternative Stage on Saturday, and there will be another later today. Plus, in the evening, selected highlights were played and we’ve got even more tonight (including – hopefully – recordings from some of the stages).
A massive thanks, of course, to our technical team who have put in a lot of work to make sure you can hear our work – and to all the volunteers who have been recording everything in the first place.
